Starfall Poem

Once the moon leads tide to high

Escape will he who’s name won’t die

Them of wind deliver grief’s key

But even then the stars must flee.

Once the moon brings tide to low

Escape will he who must not know

They of fire with secret held

No more stars should be felled.

Once the moon leads ground to cave

Escape will he who leaned to brave

Those of water riddles kept

The path of faith stars over leapt.

Once the moon brings ground to rise

Escape will he of palest eyes

They of root made themselves unseen

To repay their debt to the star queen.
