Riddle of the Week (February 25)

Soldiers may call my name in the heat of a fight

I can linger in corners or grow a great height,

I lick with my tongues to eat without teeth

And am born between rocks and hinder a thief.

I am known to roar but have no mouth

Great winds build me higher or make me go south,

Use me for sight or to stay from the cold

But many of us unleashed will become uncontrolled.
